Best Foundation


Ashy makeup does not go with luminous skin but this problem can be tackled by adding turmeric to tinted moisturizer to achieve a perfect glow that matches the luminous skin tone. Turmeric is quote popular among women in India, they often use turmeric in face creams and body scrubs to boost the glow factor.

Save your scalp



Turmeric takes care of your scalp by removing dandruff and makes it healthy. Just make a mix of turmeric and jojoba or coconut oil, massage into your scalp and leave on for 15 minutes, then shampoo and style as usual.

For Your Soap


Any homemade soap is incomplete without turmeric. Adding several teaspoons of turmeric to your favorite homemade   soap will not only enhance its color, but will boost its skin-friendly benefits as well.

For Brightening Your Teeth


Although turmeric has too much color but it is still used to whiten teeth. Just make sure that it’s not in contact with the enamel long enough to change the color. You can also sprinkle some on your commercial tooth pest.

For Dry Skin


If you have dry skin, you can make a face mask by mixing 1 egg white, 2 drops of olive oil, fresh lemon juice and rose water and a pinch of turmeric. Apply it to all dry areas such as the face, neck, elbows and knees. Allow it to dry completely and then wash off with warm water.

Young Forever



Being an excellent exfoliating agent, turmeric can help eliminate the signs of aging. You can make a paste by mixing besan (gram flour) and turmeric powder in equal proportions with water. This paste can also be prepared in raw milk or even yogurt. Apply it evenly on your body and allow it to dry. Rinse off with lukewarm water and scrub your face gently in a circular motion.

Get Rid of Facial Hair


You can make a facial scrub by mixing kasturi turmeric with chickpea (gram flour). Applying this on your face can inhibit the facial hair growth. Do it regularly for a month to get effective results.

Bye Bye Dead Cells

Make a paste by mixing gram flour and turmeric with water and apply it on your body. Scrub gently while taking a bath. Doing this regularly can rid you of dead cells to give you a glowing and spotless skin.

Natural Hair Dye


You can dye your hair naturally by using turmeric. It can be combined with other yellow colored herbs and flowers such as saffron, calendula and chamomile tea. Boil this mixture and, after cooling, pour it over your head. Leave for 15 to 20 minutes and wash off to get a vivid color.
